After over 30 years providing financial services and guidance to business owners, individuals and families through a major bank in Chicago, Mike’s has taken that experience and knowledge and is applying it to his own fee-only financial planning firm. Stanton Financial Planning, LLC is dedicated to providing individuals and business owners with what he believes they are looking for most - a trusted, objective advisor with no products to sell or hidden agendas to push.

Mike is very involved in his community, having recently completed a 10 year term as a Board Member and Chair of the Finance Committee for Smith Senior Living, a Continuing Care Retirement Community with two communities in the Chicago metro area; co-chaired the successful Beverly Arts Center Challenge, which reduced the local Art Center’s debt from $4.3 million to $1.0 million; served as President of the Beverly Area Planning Association (BAPA) and chair of its Development Committee; and currently serves on his church's Finance Committee.
